Arrival to a luxury boutique hotel, set inside the Matera Sassi, located at 120 m from Matera Cathedral. The structure represents one of the most modern and elegant luxury choices of the City. Guests can relax in a 60 sqm suite with private pool, spa bath and terrace. Here guests will enjoy treatments such as couples massages, before the exciting experience of “Sassi Tour”, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site and awarded by the European Commission as European Capital of Culture 2019.

SECOND DAY: ALBEROBELLO, THE CAPITAL OF THE TRULLI
After breakfast, visit of the UNESCO listed city Alberobello. Known for its stone-houses with conical roofs called trulli, it will be the second UNESCO heritage site of this tour.
In the afternoon guests will go to a splendid masseria (Puglian Manor Estate in the beautiful Puglian countryside) for relaxing or – for those who enjoy a more active holiday – for an optional excursion to Locorotondo.
After the dinner at the masseria, return to Matera. Overnight at the hotel.
THIRD DAY: CASTEL DEL MONTE, MASTERPIECE OF THE EMPEROR FREDERICK II
After breakfast, visit of Castel del Monte, our third UNESCO cultural heritage site. This monument is a brilliant example of medieval architecture, located on a hill in the Murge area. Commissioned by the eclectic and cultured Frederick II, Duke of Swabia, the Castle is an exceptional work for the perfection of its forms and the fusion of cultural elements from different periods and places.
In the afternoon guests will move to Andria, a city that is particularly closely connected to the Emperor and to the Teutonic Chevaliers. Delicious dragées tasting in the historic comfit museum “Giovanni Mucci”.
Return to Matera in the evening, free time for dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
FORTH DAY: DEPARTURE
Departure with private transfer (limousine service or deluxe buses) to the airport. Assistance during check-in.
